With Des Hasler’s future seemingly safe at Belmore it appears fans are still try to bring about change to the embattled club.

News Corp reports, Canterbury fans are starting to take matters into their own hands by distributing the official Bulldogs membership nomination form via social media in a bid to to rid the club of its top dog.

The application comes with a $30 fee and gives fans the chance to become a voting member of the club and was sparked by the Bulldogs loss to South Sydney last Thursday night which saw the ‘family club’ sink to its 14th loss of the year.

And while fans have expressed anger towards the newly signed coach Des Hasler, the social media campaign was specifically targeted towards club chairman Ray Dib.

Supporters of the Bulldogs are unhappy over Dib’s decision to re-sign Hasler to a new two-year deal and demanded the club’s chair stand down.

Dib’s future as chairman will go on the line as early as next year when members will have the opportunity to vote for a new board.

Canterbury chief executive Raelene Castle became the first high-profile casualty at administration level earlier this year when she announced she would be quitting at the end of 2017.

This is the bloke you need to oust, and any of his stooges at board level, everything else will start falling in place when you get some new talented board members and a new CEO.

Let Dib know he is a dead man walking politically speaking and he will be 100% voted out next election regardless of how deep he digs his heels in, hes got as much chance of reelection as Steve Sharp had at parra, when your times up its up.

Weird article. We all know that most want Dib gone but didn't some of the "members" on this site say that Dib had set it up so new members couldn't vote straight away after joining??

You have to be a member for 3 years before you have voting rights

Do you have a right to vote if you are a season ticket holder for more than 3 yrs or is there another process. If so how do you get to have a say?

Looking across all the leagues football clubs it appears some you can vote at and others you cant depending on how they were set up. The ones you can vote at you have to be a paid up member for three years first. Pretty cosy arrangement when you think about it harder to get them removed this way. Imagine being told by the government that when you turned 18 you could vote only after waiting three years. What is the point in being a member and having no voting rights. Begs belief.
As a consequence the only way Dib can be thrown off the board is if the current three years plus members wake their ideas up and realise how this bunch of incompetents have destroyed a once proud football club. Alternatively someone would have to rake up something shady about the current incumbents enough for the NRl or legal people to investigate and have them suspended or deposed.
The only possibility is that another ticket puts up for election and the existing three years plus members decide that there is a viable alternative to the gooses running the show just now. Pity performance indicators are not used to qualify the current board or they would all be gone.

We are in a bit of a mess at the moment but be thankful we're not the Titans. Their players have started publicly demanding the sacking of their coach.

Anyone got a link to the "Membership nomination form". Ill happily pay the $30 and spread it around to friends that support the club. The head of the snake (ray dib) must be chopped off.

When you have someone like Dib, who needs a CEO? I'm actually surprised Dib is not chairman, CEO and coach!

He's a money and business orientated pig
Only worries about his own pocket and bank balance
Loves the limelight and getting his helmet head mug in the media
Has done jack shit for the club lately and more importantly made every wrong call to fcuk it.

Des ain't safe.... We want des and dibb
gone
i was thinking that, whats he mean Des is seemingly safe? He should not be. And Dib yeh him and the board should go for extending Des after round 4 this year, where at the time we had lost 7 of the previous 8 games we had played. How on earth does that form get anyone extended?
