I’ve worked with mini before and I’ve got to say the guy is a genuine top bloke.
Is my experience too, and if you ask, he is all too willing to share his experience and knowledge.
IIRC he grew up as a Dogs supporter too, so if this helps us poach him...

Having trouble reading Flipper?
The article in no way says the Bulldogs guaranteed Karl a Top 30 spot - the Ponies did and then reneged. And you have absolutely no evidence that a $500k transfer fee was paid - you’re speculating again, the same as you did when you said the Bulldogs could be facing a $10m payout for ‘mismanagement’ of Karl’s injury. So we just add yet another thing to an ever growing list of things you’ve been wrong about :-).
All they've got is an article reporting what they're claiming.
Neither side has denied/confirmed it openly.

Why the fuck are these losers still going on about the 500k day in day out more than a year after we signed Oloapu? Even if we did pay that, it's not your money, it doesn't come out of the cap.. The Leagues Club would make that in a day or two of Pokie takings.. Who gives a shit? Get a fucking life...

Love this kids attitude..hopefully he mends well and comes back bigger and better!
But what about the $10m payout the Bulldogs were going to have to foot for mismanagement of Karl’s injury according to @04 Dreaming?? Oh that’s right, it’s @04 Dreaming and his 0% strike rate. Karl, we wish you recovery and to see you in Blue and White again.

Would have been a dream come true to play NRL, he showed some really good signs and I’m sure he’s got a bright future to play out - great attitude.

04Dreaming simply exudes verbal diarrhoea on a regular basis… there’s a plethora of youngsters that got their chance at NRL level over the years and playing with injury is also par for course at that level…. The NRL also sets age limits and the club wouldn’t have risked him if there was any concussion related trauma - it’s a collision sport, sh!t is going to happen and his attitude is exemplary for a young bloke, stuff of champions. Hopefully bounces back bigger and better.

I heard Gus say, on 6 tackles with Gus, that Karl won't be playing this year

Yep - and no point in risking his long term health to rush him back. I’m sure the club are abiding medical advice and that’s the best thing for all, especially Karl.
It's unfortunate for him and the club. I wonder what the long term prognosis is and at what point does medical retirement become an option
