On what evidence are you basing that? Multiple players left mid-season....I've never seen that happen with so many players in a season. By the end of the year, nobody in the squad looked happy to be there, or like they wanted to play.... with the exception of the two blokes the coach inexplicably just punted.

Evidence suggests it's much more than a handful.

Evidence also suggests Cameron Ciraldo is a boggly-eyed, clipboard nibbling plonker.
Is that your evidence?
Your just assuming ok

If the rumours are true and RFM is a big problem, then who cares about the alleged $400k ($200k) on the cap due to $200k being vet allowance. It’s only $200k, then who gives a sh!t, sure it’s playing with 29 squad players for first 10-11 rounds, but it’s only $200k off the cap. If no one will take him, let him stay home and enjoy his 2yrs of benefits. Career will be done after that. It’s not ideal, but it’s better than this being someone on $500,$600k or more.

Maybe they weren't happy with training. It doesn't mean RFM defending that, makes it right . . . Train harder ***** ! Should have been his input
For sure bro. He wanted to be a friend and give the young boys a cuddle instead of being a leader. He should have been an example and done any punishment with the boys, done extras and promote culture. **** wanted to be a fkn social worker

If we lose our 200k veteran allowance and 200k in the cap or 2 years I don't see the issue for RFM or from the NRL. If RFM gets another club for minimum wage he's making more money, if not same money. Lodge at Warrior something similar (more money tho)?

His form dipped in his last year with Eel and has struggled here with our other middles around him. He struggles to play 80 yet coach keeps playing him 80 for all to see. It's better to say the truth than lie or say nothing.
I'd say that's why we've signed Turpin. To take some of the workload off Mahoney

It's too late to back down now, both sides are in too deep. There are obviously issues but I still don't believe this one sided narrative that has been pushed by the club privately and via the media. This is going to drag on for a while along with a few other issues.
It’s probably 80% true, but either way RFM really fucked CC and Gus around. This is including everything he said to Buzz after it all happened.
It’ll drag on for sure but Buzz is looking forward to when the mental health patient is back on track then he will unload

Do what you like.

I just find it all interesting that everyone is laying into the club about RFM being Captain yet there really wasn’t a standout leader once Jackson retired And didn’t he cop it as captain on here when he was playing.
That's not the point. The point is that people at the club are in a better position than us and should be making better decisions. Clearly, they're not. There was nothing but positive vibes from the club during preseason, they hit is with that documentary, hit us with a crying RFM, hit us with jersey presentations, etc. Fast forward a few months and we're meant to believe RFM is a suddenly a toxic piece of shit that lead some player revolt and the players don't like "training hard". Keep in mind this is a guy that came back from a potential career ending injury. Way more to this

You have to consider a few scenarios here.

1. This has gone public to push RFM to severe his contract with us. It’s definitely a ploy I have seen in the EPL (Sancho at Man United). We are trying to push the narrative that we are cut throat club. RFM is made the scrapegoat for the training fiasco.

2. Or the fact he was told to stay away from training means the relationship is beyond repairable. The club and the players may not trust him after leaking information to the media which has destabilised the team.
Never ever compare the Dogs th Man United again. NEVER

How is that illegal?
It's not? Can clubs just ban players from attending training for extended periods because they feel like it?

So logic is evidence now.
Not evidence that would be admissible in a court of law, perhaps.... but I have evidence of circumstances, which would be considered circumstantial evidence. So, I ask again - where is your evidence? Circumstantial, or otherwise?

Well it is the point. There was no clear leader in this group. RFM got it by default as the longest serving player at the club and had shown of the park that he had leadership qualities by coming back from career ending injuries.

No one has a crystal ball to predict the future otherwise you would be the GM of the dogs. You’re not as painful as @Doogie whos never wrong just ask it. But you do love to whinge anything about anything Gus. Take a breath and look outside there is more to life then bickering about Gus on a forum.

RFM has had some huge injury setbacks, but the majority of the kennel choses to side with two blow ins who have been at the club for five minutes. All RFM did was try to do what any good club captain should do and rep his boys.

A tyrant who can't deliver results is the very worst kind.

Sad to see so many people attacking Ray's character. I see you for the man you are, RFM. Good luck and thanks for what you tried to do here.
With all due respect.. What the fuck would you know??

We're paying Gus and Ciraldo millions so they can select our captain by default? Na. I have higher standards, maybe that's my problem for expecting more from a club in the NRL.
