Hasler was sacked for being part of a trio who completely screwed our salary cap for years and even when we were winning, had us playing the most frustratingly boring brand of footy.
Plus he completely neglected our junior pathways which Gus has been brought in to rectify 5 years since Hasler was sent packing.

He also decimated our salary cap and juniors system. Just look how good Blacktown are going atm. Saying that he is a good coach no doubt, just wants to be like the roosters and storm and buy players rather than develop them. Problem is NRL won’t let dogs or even Manly do that and come down on us like a ton of bricks if we come close to breaking salary cap while they look the other way for the roosters/ storm.

BAHAAHA you mean like every other coach after him has too? we've been averaging under 10 points a game for the last 5 seasons FFS. Compared to these pretenders Hasler was an immortal amongst coaches LOL

then the Andersons got in
they sacked Dean Pay
and installed Trent from punchbowl as coach

Every other coach since Hasler, besides Barrett this year, had a fukin dogs breakfast of a squad. It was Hasler who set up the bog average squad for 4 years due to his back ended salary cap payments. How can you compare every other coach when Hasler had a squad which would've been a couple of thousand over the cap while Pay and last year's Barrett would've had a squad a couple of thousand under the cap.
This year, with a much better squad, has only proven Barrett couldn't coach an Under 7's team.
