Anyone think the Blues played like the Dogs last night? I thought they were very Bulldog like.. Precise attack and gritty match winning defence.. Outstanding effort!

Whats everyones thoughts on Reynolds and Hodkinson's performance?

Our bulldogs halves did us proud for first-timers, they will only get better. JMoz well what can you say about him, absolutely owned GI and set up for our first try was a class act. Trex imo did ok, but under used.

The defence was very Bulldog like and they only allowed 2 trys which, again, is very Bulldog like.

The sweeping plays and Haynes chiming into the back was extremely bulldog-like.. reminiscent of the barba plays of 2012, except hayne is infinitely better. Notice the farah run around from a prop?

You can see that the halves really took control at training and introduced a few set plays that were executed very well.

Watching that made me want a fullback who's lethal in attack, not only defence.

I think Hodkos defense stifled the maroons on the edge. He really is an unsung hero this kid.

Watching it made me really proud that we have such great, young halves, and THAT is proof that the bulldogs will be a force this year and years to come. They showed their intelligence and maturity, and thats what you need from halves. Hopefully, as an added bonus, they can really steer the blues to their first series win in 9 years.

Bring on the Bulldogs and Blues dynasties!
