There's a good chance he'll hit the ground running. He seems like he's 100% focused on redeeming himself and kicking his career off again. I think his time away might have made him hungry enough. He's obviously put in the work on fitness and if he throws himself into his skills and defence training with the same intensity, I think he might prove some of the doubters wrong. He seems pretty confident that he can play first grade in round after 4 years out without footy. Nothing wrong with that but I'd rather Ciraldo make him work for that spot by making him play reserves until his form demands he be selected.
Keep him hungry.
No doubt they know each other. But I've read in a few articles that Xerri only needed a chance to restart his career, he jumped on it. I think we're lucky we sounded him out first. He'll get more offers if he comes off contract with us. And if he's as good as he was I think we'll try to avoid him hitting the open market. His best mate is Flanno that’s one of the reasons he came to the club… this could go either way he goes to dragons later on and doesn’t see out the contract or respects us for giving him a second chance
