1. Taafe
2. Kiraz
3. Critta
4. Xerri
5. Fox

This must rank among one of the best back 5s in the comp? Obviously forwards are a must also!
Nasheed here,
Also Brayden burns as floating backup. Will het get offered a gig? I hav a feeling he wont, unless min wage and a year which he will be disgusted at. And depending on what goes on with Alamoti. EWQ and brad Morkos too maybe.

Burns is decent depth thats about it, EQW and morkos probably wont play much, alamotti will get in when he matures i imagine

Looks nice but feel there's a few variables at play.

Skelton and or Papalii (might be a few years off) could squeeze into that backline at some point.

Today's a massive audition for Skelton

I dont know Morkos, but I feel EQW will develop a lot after a good pre season. He has huge potential.

No it wouldn't
Still not even close to the broncos back 5 for example.
Taafe will be average at fullback.
Kiraz is a fan fav and a quality player but plenty better than him running around
Critta is quality and rates high.
Xerri well who knows what to expect from him.
Fox is high standard

The way I see it, that back 5 only has 2 high quality players.
Rest are ok.
Def not going to he one of the best back 5 in the comp

I'm looking forward to watching Skelton today also

I don't see it as am audition.
I see it as another step forward in his development.

And I hope the team can be at least competitive against the donkeys to help the kid learn and experience nrl.
I hope it's not on the back of a hiding.
Love to see what he can do in moments where we are dominating the game and giving him some space to do his thing.

Comes down to how well our forwards step up today.

Not at all. If we kept Avo still we would be one of the fastest backlines but still not the best. I would argue right now Critta is the only one you could argue is sensational and we haven’t seen how he will perform in our team yet.
Taafe is unproven as a week in-week out fullback and don’t let one good game against us make him seem invincible
Kiraz is a good player but not the greatest winger - he has potential to continue developing but what will set him apart from other wingers to be the “best” is the question?
Xerri has potential to be great for us but has been out of the game for a while
JAC seems to have lost his speed and has been poor defensively this season - he has the potential to get back to his best, as his origin game 3 performance was great but he has not been at his peak for us which is a sign his getting older.

Lol, I’d thought you’d like that line up [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
This Taaffe starting @ fullback nonsense is painful lol. I might not be a fan of the Crichton signing but it's damn obvious he will be our fullback to start the year next season.

Throw in Burton and Sexton on the each side of the field feeding our backs, looks pretty decent. But well need to the go forward from our forwards to accomplish that. Albeit, need to see more games and consistency from our halves which is something we are yet to see.

Yeah I agree with the Taaffe fullback talk.

I’ve got a Souths supporter at my work and he does not rate him one iota.

No Wilson ? I thought he has shown enough so far as a winger with xerri and kiraz centre, looks like we will have better depth next year

1. Critta
2. JAC
3. Xerri
4. Kiraz
5. Wilson/Skelton (Kiraz and Skelton can swap positions)

No need to buy Taffee and if we do he's a back-up/benchie imo.
