If you thought the price of petrol was a bad thing, think again.

This actually happened a few weeks ago right near Fairfield in
Sydney.
It was early evening and a young lady stopped to get petrol at QUIX.
She filled her tank and walked to store to pay for her fuel. The
cashier said "Dont pay for your petrol yet.... walk around the store
for a while and act as if you're picking up some other things to buy.
He then told her why.... "A man just got into the back of your car.
I've called the police and they're on their way."
When the police arrived the man was in the back seat of the girls car,
and they asked him what he was doing. He replied, he was joining a
gang, and the initiation to join was to kidnap a woman and bring her
back to the gang to be raped by every member of the gang.
If the woman was still alive by the time they finish with her they
then
let her go. According to police that night, there is a new gang
forming
here, originating from Wetherill Park. The scary part is this, that
because the guy didn't have a weapon on him the police could only
charge him with trespassing. He's back on the street and free to try
again!!
Please be aware of what's going on around you and your family and
friends. LADIES you or your family could be the next victim.
Please forward this to everyone you know.
A similar event has apparently taken place at a 7-Eleven servo in
Wynnum. Please be careful when you are in and leave your vehicle.
ALWAYS LOCK YOUR DOORS

the moral of the story is, lock your doors, even wen just going 2 pay 4 petrol, never leave ur keys in the ignition, & it would also be a good idea to take ur valuables with u like mobile phones, or handbags, & most importantly, never leave babies unattended.

fairfield, was it related 2 assyrian kings?
Possibly. The man that died was my tenant. He was an innocent victim in the wrong place at the wrong time.

It could be AK or it could be Asians, Islanders or Lebs trying to 'hit' Assyrians. No one knows anything yet.

Oh, yes she does :p

Anyways people always lock your front doors, even when you just go outside to peg up the washing or something :p

(thought I should get back to the actual meaning of the thread, sorry)

I don't know much about Mackay, but is the area as bad as Sydney? I would imagine it to be a nice peaceful town where you'd be able to not have to lock your house or car.

You imagine wrong...my mates mum was in the shower... thought she heard her husband walking through the door coming home from work... she walked out 20mins later to see half her entertainment area missing...

I dont get the pain bit...
nothing lol, just felt like adding something random there.

i dunno about u ppl, but i always keep some extra security in my car, incase i ever get car jacked or if i come across another angry motorist in a road rage fit. apart from the steering wheel lock, i've got a wooden baton, under my seat.

in south africa they have fire blasters that throw flames from under the side skirts of their vehicles to prevent carjackings.

for those of u that dont have that type of protection i suggest u compromise & use the following items from ur vehicle.

* the oil dipstick

* the ciggarette lighter to burn the attacker

* the wheel brace from the boot (that's the tool to unscrew the lock nuts)

* use the car keys to stab the attacker in the eye

otherwise, u'd better use ur legs & run as fast as u can :D :D
