This just isn't right.
can you imagine being told you can't eat Vegemite anymore ! Or if that's not your thing what about Anzac Biscuits ? Tim-tams ?
Can you fathom being informed due to a contractual arrangement, two-up will now be exclusively an in-house event ? Australian flags will only be flown on sponsored Govt approved poles ?

Due to a contractual agreement between 2GB and the NRL, and the movement of HG & Roy to MMM, it seems we will no longer hear the State Of Origin being called from the Card Table !!!

In a nutshell, NRL grants two licences to broadcast. A "commerical" and "non-commercial" rights contract. ABC are holders of the NCR, they let the boys do their thing on JJJ (which ABC owns). 2GB had exclusive rights on commercial stations.
So since HG & Roy have moved to MMM, 2GB have clamped down and said "Hell NO. They aint doing it !!!". More to the point Ray Fkn Hadley, has come out demanding "MMM uphold the terms of the broadcasting agreements, and only broadcast on Monday nights", (which they started doing last year).
To deny rugby-league lovers to hear HG & Roy call SOO, is borderline criminal.
F*ck the agreement between those d*cks*ckers in the NRL and 2GB - Give the fans what they want !!!
We'll see if common sense prevails or if 2GB wil lhold rugby league to ransom over their inability to do a better job !
