I've never seen a good team so severely dominated.. right from the get go it was a genuine ambush, and Penrith never relented.. the scoreboard does not reflect how one-sided that game was.. Roosters never got going until the final 8 minutes.. the few other times they saw Penrith's end was off penalties. You have to appreciate that energy.

Panthers look on track for a 4th premiership. Did it without their best player as well.

Great win over the Rorters, that's another W in the column against the Rorters who haven't beaten the Panthers since 2019.

Couldn't possibly tip the Rorters even though they had a lot in their favour before the game, Panthers seem to have the wood over them over the last 5 years.

This shows what a great coach Ivan Cleary is. He doesn’t get the credit and respect he deserves. He doesn’t get recruits wrong, he doesn’t miss a beat when players leave and he’s developed the culture & mentality at Penrith. When he returned they were dysfunctional in his words, he cleaned so much of the club out on & off the field, was prepared to sacrifice the 2019 season and the rest is history it’s his club.
