Yeah I understand the physics of it.

But it could be as simple as if you catch the ball ahead of where it was passed, its forward. Hard to explain but I hope you know what I mean.

NRL could solve it by allowing the bunker to rule on it when try’s go up for review, even allow captains challenges.
