TPJ looks small next to Kikau lol, guess he's starting lock for us this year then.

TPJ in a decision making role is a great idea... not playing him at prop is almost suicide

It's crazy to think back to a few years ago when there was nothing to get hyped over in the pre-season. Fast forward to now, we've got Grub & Foxx in the Kennel!

Grub? please no ... I'm still praying its PR exercise to get the fans and sponosrs hyped before we are officially told he will be a on field trainer / water distribution specialist

Bit on intel out of Doggies team. Just remember this can change with players performances during the trials but start making plans for the following

✅ Haze Perham is getting the first team reps at fullback
✅ Jake Averillo is training at right centre
✅ Braidon Burns is training both sides but is being preferred on the left due to his time being coached there by Ciraldo in the Panthers lower grades
✅ Alamoti not totally out of the picture but his seen as young, raw and carrying many injuries already

Braidon Burns…

Burns lack of pace does create defensive problems - similar to Hopoate - however i think his strength is in organising edge defenders around him and making good decisions. Not ideal howver given the clubs recent history in being unable to coach centres / wingers to make good defensive decisions - playing him make some sense.

So many of the club outside backs over the last 7 years end up defending clean air - Reimis Smith, Averillo, Naden, Okunbor, even JAC -its the same in lower grades - just run in and hope.

Hazem was never a quick winger, nor was Perret but their decision making in defence made up for it.

How is anyone gonna even know this at this point? Surely they’d be focusing on fitness right now
