2018 Write Off

There has been many references to this being a write off. I beg to differ for the following reasons
Dib gone
Hasler case settled
MBye gone
Woods gone
Foran injured
North Coast alignment
Lewis, Smith
5th best defense (to date)
Smashed the Dragons
Beat Top 8 teams Warriors broncos panthers
Overall a pretty good year I reckon. And the basis for a good future

Our attacking emergence is dynamic. Not much Desball in our play anymore.
Could of and should of also beaten Souths and Raiders..teams ahead of us in the ladder still.
Pay growing into Head Coach role
Added a couple of potentially good players to our roster next year in Crichton, Sui and Hawera Nina
Hopoate, Holland, Martin, Elliott growing as players.

We are moving forward again and thanks to the new board , coach and the overhaul our bulldog spirit is back

There was a comment where he said that the new board has won him over, so that’s good enough. Only way is forward from here

Agree with all you have said. We needed a big change. The swamp has been drained and its forward from now.
The players all appear to be shaping up and playing for the coach. Thats something new.
The abysmal financial situation has been addressed and will just keep getting better.
Probably the best thing, is that players now want to come here, unlike in the past few years.

Too think that anyone apart from Des was going to be an upgrade, but I must admit the changes have gone beyond expectations and its upwards from here.

We need to be about 20% better next year. I’m afraid our roster won’t allow it and we will again be stuck on the cusp of the 8.
