2013 Membership Updates

So its the interstate package the dogs have, but costs more. Havent looked this year yet (2013) but in 2012 it was $50.

Storm have an Interstate package and Country Memberships. Interstate package is no good to me as I live in Adelaide and I would have to go to sydney or qld to watch games.Country memberships give me 5 home games and it is so much easier to either fly or drive to Melbourne to watch my CHAMPION TEAM.

I renewed on the second day ad still got told that there warns any seats available, personally I think it's a load of crap and they look after a lot of there own..

They give the people who already held memberships those seats the chance to renew them first. The only way you'll get into those bays is if people give up their seats there.

So really, they're looking after loyal members who have held those seats for years. Seems fair to me.

Fair enough, but I've also had my seats in bay 107 for the last FOUR seasons and next season will be my FIFTH season so I don't know how fair that is. I know of people who allocated that they had family in bay 131 and got the seats they asked for.. So again fairness ?

So I received a package today, it was a members benefit pack.. Now I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm pretty sure on my members card, it should say something's along the lines of k3 member or kennel member, not "pledge member".. Since I purchased a kennel membership.
And on top of all of that, I didn't get a lanyard, the only thing I was looking forward to the most.

Did I just get ripped? Or can I walk in and get another members pack with the benefit pack voucher they sent me previously?

i know people dont buy a membership just for the merchandise packs, but fair dinkum my son got his pups membership pack today and its pure junk, a rubbish cap and 2 stickersin some very c heap pencil case type thing, my membership pack didnt turn up which is no surprise after all the drama just trying to find out if my membership fees went through to the club.
still no membership cards at all, and we should get cards as we do come to sydney for the 1 game we are allocated.
overall i now see the bulldogs memberships becoming way to corperate and dollar hungry, its not about the members anymore its about getting the dollars from the members and giving as little as posible in return.

I got my kennel vouchers ages ago but haven't redeemed them yet.

Very saddened to hear so much negative feedback especially when the club is supposedly trying really hard to get and retain members (as stated at the first year members forum)

how can one stay positive when membership renewel has been a cock up from the word go, weeks and weeks waiting for the club to say yes they received payment for memberships, 1 email saying my seats would be lost if not renewed, that was 5 weeks after paying, ring the club they cant help as its a ticketek issue, ring ticketek they cant help as they are only a carrage service for the bulldogs.

this is the last time ill do a membership this way, not one person from ticketek or the bulldogs could explain where the funds were for memberships, even though payment left my account instantly, couldnt eplain why there was emails sent weeks later telling me to pay membership renewal, sent 1 email saying payment received then other emails asking for payment, missing the 18 day promotion, then after many phone calls to the club i get an email congratulating me for becoming a new member..... been a member for the past 7 years.

I know how you feel , I bought the family country membership and my daughters recieved their packs yesterday but they dont incude the backbacks or the lanyards? the membership brochure states that country members receive the members pack on page 5 so I rang the office yesterday to ask why we havent received the backpacks and lanyards and was told that this is only for full paying members??? Not anywhere is this stated or written in the brochure or website coukd some one please explain!!! We feel ripped off as I was a country member last year and received the whole pack as stated in the brochure , I will ring and complain on monday as its not good enough !!

I renewed my GA membership known this year as the "Blue Zone". Membership pack this year does not include a backpack or a lanyard. I find it very unfair that members who fork our more money get the backpacks. Everybody is a member and should be entitled to the same pack, in this day and age people cannot afford the best. I think it's wrong wat the club have done in terms of the membership packs and discriminate according to where you sit.

Maybe my expectations are too high, 9k before Xmas , is
probably twice as many as last year at the same time...

But seeing some numbers of other teams membership ,
even the ****ty eels have more people signed up than us
at the moment , makes me feel a little disappointed,
especially with how many people jumped on the band wagon
last season .....

Yes... I do realise that members of teams playing out of small grounds
need to renew straight away to not lose their seats , and chokawarra
inflate member numbers by splitting their memberships between oki chokie
and Wollongong.... But we should be matching the Bunnies who play at
the same ground....... I guess souffs supporters get their centre link cheques
in December.

I think Dognacious took your post a bit too seriously. I think almost everyone here is fine with you being here because you do add to discussions and don't just constantly talk about the storm.
