On Saturday at about 5.25hpm channel 9 Getaway, part of the program is about taking a cultural tour of Singapore.
https://www.9now.com.au/getaway/2023/episode-33 (have to sign up to view, it's free to sign up, I forget if you get adds.)
At the 5.15 mark, it's about Singapore. ends about 10.45.
The presenter is annoying with her facial expressions. lol
That opened up the appetite.@steeliz

Back when I travelled there you could cross a border for a day trip and renew the 90 day period for extended stays without a visa. I don't know if that's still possible. So you know, you don't need a visa for singapore, unless you stay for 90 days
If you're a passport holder from Australia, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, Switzerland, the United States, or if you're a European Union citizen, you can stay in Singapore for a maximum of 90 days before having to acquire a visa.
There are some websites that say you do.
You can get cash directly from most ATMs over there. Not a bad idea to get a lonely planet guide for Singapore either. It'll give you an idea of what will cause offence with local customs etc. for example, the friend I travelled with almost got kicked off a bus for stretching his legs out and having his feet next to the driver. It's offensive in Thailand to even point your feet towards someone. The driver stopped the bus and was yelling at him. Wound up shifting my mate further back on the bus. But a lonely planet guide will help you with the culture. Give you a guide to@steeliz

The portrait of Singapore's first President, the late Encik Yusof Bin Ishak, was chosen to honour his invaluable contribution towards nation-building.Wonder why the same picture of the same guy on all the notes?
