1/2. Des had a whole pre season to get his players into shape and fit for a long season.
3. Every other team has to also deal with the reduced interage rule and have adapted.
4. Des hired his girlfriend Cleal to scout for players and both have had 4 seasons to make sure our squad has enough talent to win the comp.

If those 6 players have been as bad as you say then why hasn't Des dropped atleast a few of them.

Mybe - Des signed him to new contract so he obvs likes him
Tolman - His is actually a good and reliable player but not when his at first receive and taking hitups in the opposition 10m .
Williams - It took Des 3 1/2 years to drop him.
Browne/Fualalo - L.Perrett has been killing it in reserve grade recently and should of got a crack instead of one of these 2.
Holland - Could easily been replaced by Philips or Montoya.

However I firmly believe this season has run off the rails because of the players.

I was a big fan of Tolman but he can't even get over the advantage line now.

I can only assume he thinks there are not other players who can step up and do a better job.
That it will upset the defensive structure to much.

It will still feel like the rest of the season. They would haven't given 100% and we would leave the game and or finishing watching feeling like they could have done a little more. We haven't played for 80 mins all season and thats not going to change.

How is it a copout? We have played shit all year, been embarrassing at times, barely scraped enough wins against shit teams to make it. Our attack is pathetic, all this over 26rounds.
The only way to win is to overhaul the gameplan which goes against everything hasler has done for 5years and what should have already been done. And what fans have been saying all along.
