Four forwards on the bench didn't work this year, it's not going to work next year either.

1) Patten - Plenty experience at the back, provides good last line of defence.
2) Turner - Knows how to find the try line, got the speed & plenty of experience.
3) Idris - Steams roll the opposition in attack
4) Morris - Speed gun, finds the line on plenty of occasions & TRY SCORING FREAK!
5) Goodwin - Provides good defence when it comes to the high ball, knows how to score tries. Handy Goal Kicker.
6) Roberts - Good running game, love those grubbers behind the opposition for Morris & Goodwin to score.
7) Kimmorley - Good kick & chase, leads the boys around the park with his experience.
8) Hannant - Runs it hard, never do die attitude, continued to play with an Injury during State of Origin.
9) Ennis - Adds spark from the Dammy-Half play the ball area, takes the pressure off Kimmorley & Roberts in the kicking game. Handy Goal Kicker.
10) Hodgson - Runs the ball hard in attack, good in defence.
11) Warburton - Probably the most under-rated Second Rower, got plenty of spark to him.
12) Ryan - Experienced, runs it hard, solid in defence, makes up the meters.
13) Stagg - Solid in both attack & defence.

14) Barba - Provides spark, got good speed, can be used when points are needed.
15) Armit - Got some great off-loads going for him, runs the ball hard.
16) Gordon - He knows how to make a line-break, Brilliant in attack, solid in defence.
17) Halatau - Utility player, will do us wonder in Attack & Defence.

Lack of X factor cost us the game last night.

Barba should be on the bench.

Oh but now the so called super coaches will come out and talk about his attitude and how NSW Cup is better for him. Now you realize that you need something special to WIN a finals game :grinning:
Having a good attacker on the bench is great but what about if this great attacker in the bench is a turnstyle in defence?

Imagine if some like Fuifui or an Eric Grothe running at Barba

It's the problem with the NRL season, X factor generally comes at the cost of consistency, we won a lot more games over the season then parra, maybe it's time to look at a full home and away season, first past the post like in football. then have a knock out cup competition.

I left Idris out as he needs time to develop. Green was probably recommended by Kimmorley & is a natural half/five-eighth unlike Roberts. Roberts is a great player & would be damaging out wide with ball in hand. Left Gordon out, because I think he is a back-up at best. Paea is a hard runner & with a bit of Dog mongrel in him, he could be very destructive. Halatau is an awesome buy because of his versatility. Turner straight in for El Masri. Haven't seen a lot of Harrison. Barba is just too small - like Sammut, a very handy player but nothing more than a speed hump in defence and therefore too much liability.

I'm so excited for 2010... Our new look team really made an impression this year gelling like a mofo, it takes years for players to click like that, we've done it in one, next year we will be blowing everyone off the park... Can't wait.

Ryan is as solid as ever but I think its time for him to move up front and to get a few quicker guys running a bit wider. Gordon should be used for his impact running and as a utility and not be wasted in the energy sapping early exchanges. Just my opinion

I like this side alot. No Hickey which means no liability in the middle, Patten as captain would be terrific, your bench has some spark in Barba and Gordon and Bobcat in a front rower role wouldn't be so bad. I think he'd be a better prop these days anyway. Off the bench sounds good.

Halatau very versatile too. Good side.:grinning:

I honestly think that side would work wonders...But I won't complain with whatever side Moore selects.
