no one has harrison in there side this kid is good if he can stay fit, he is very similiar to ryan when he started and he is also a tackling machine, Barba has to come off the bench hopefully with another off season under his belt will be better for him i agree with the X factor look at the game against NZ this year. just my opinion the one that counts is kevies!!!

think people are overhyping barba, don't get me wrong i think he should get a bench spot next yr, but everyone saying oh he's the xfactor we need etc. besides the warriors game, he hadn't had that much impact imo. and people bagging idris saying he shouldn't be in the team etc. are also overhyping barba and wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't live up to these hefty expectations he gets hammered here. like i said i rate the guy but i think everyone needs to calm down on him

Barba's final year in his contract next season, will need to be somewhere in 1st grade to earn another contract.

Now you'll notice I have left out Jamal Idris. He is far too inconsistent at the moment, and lets more tries in than he scores. He seems lazy and dis-interested on the field. Not to mention he jogs with the ball.

He needs some time in NSW Cup to reshape his game because at the moment he's somewhat of a myth.

People will get up me saying "ahh but he's young and was injured yadda yadda". Hannant was injured, Gordon was injured, Patten was injured, Goodwin was injured and all still gave 100% so it's not an excuse.

Sure he was great against the Knights, but scoring a few tries and having a few good games a season doesn't cut it in first grade, where you are meant to be a professional.

I have no doubt that the side I have named above would do serious damage.

I think Gordon has the ability, agility, size and speed to be a really damaging centre (in the mould of Tuiaki and Vatuvei). Given a good winger outside him, and given how defensively sound he is marking one position, I reckon he could be just the x factor our backline needs.

So you get Rookie of the year, and your reward is playing for the feeder side the following year. NICE

its unfortunate because i love patten, but he dissapeared for us in the first half last night and you need to make the tough decisions

just like patten came in for rod silva and people still loved the rod, now its pattens turn to get the tap on the shoulder

it shows how much you people no about footy saying andrew ryan will struggle to make the team next year..as long as he is fit n healthy he'll play
We're not saying he'll struggle to make the team because he'll always be 1st choice but I don't think he offered more than Gordon or Eastwood did this year.

Patten has to be in the team. Idris will only get better with age and experience so you can't drop him. Barba on the bench for extra attack.

Ryan is a leader, thats why we need him. Most games as captain in Bulldogs history.

Beastwood was awesome and I'll miss him
