How does a team finish first on the inaugural World Test Championship table only to have to play in conditions which are perfectly suited to their opponents? How does the team that finished first end up going in with no significant preparation, while their opponents go ineith two test matches under their belt?

At the risk of pissing off any New Zealand fans here, India got screwed. India is the real champion team.

i don't know, my guess is maybe covid-19 created these inconveniences, for example formula 1 doesn't know how many rounds the championship will be and they chopped/changed the calendar

but test matches are correctly named, they are the best way to test which is the better cricket team, so no excuses
