It's funny how the people with so much talent and ability don't always have the desire to go with it.
Is he serious about boxing? I'm pretty sure the training for boxing would be harder or at least on par with professional footy.
His dad wants him to quit footy and do boxing full time but your right training pro for boxing is a hell of a lot more difficult than footy

He honestly could be anything if he can get his head right

Yeah that's the one. The same one that shat on this club, probably convinced this kid to walk away from a Manly contract to box and will pull the strings when something better is on the table.
Cbb sbw not pulling any strings bud

I'm pretty sure the Blacktown sea eagles (manlys reserve grade) coach said back in November last year that Meehan and Jamal Hopoate were still not cleared by the NRL to play 1st grade and they weren't expecting clearances any time soon so he was hoping they'd be a part of his pack. Maybe Meehan thought better to concentrate on boxing and just play Massey. Big difference in training full-time with a 1st grade Squad or 3 arvos a week with auburn

Can you imagine him playing RMC? You have to feel sorry for the opposition.

Seen him run around in ISP last year, real handfull with the ball but only lasts 10 min and walks around in defence, id say he hasn't trained seriously fitness wise and conditioning for league for a while, probably like kamire, unfortunately just got fatter and lazier as he's got older, a real shame cause he is talented.

Funny you should mention Kamire in this thread. He went to Blacktown, lasted about 3 training sessions and hasn't been sighted since.

He might just be doing it for extra fitness and because he loves footy but didn't want to train full time like he was at the sea beagles

Are you sure he has signed a contract with the Bulldogs and not Auburn. We only send the players that don't make NSW Cup there only a few are contracted to the dogs.
Willis has signed with Auburn Warriors

Fark Auburn are building quite the war chest it seems.

Slaimankhel is a good player... just never got a chance anywhere, and Meehan still young.

I wonder if our recruitment guy is helping the Warriors identify talent we may be interested in picking up if they kill it in RMC.

Yes both recruitment officers for the bulldogs and warriors are working overtime
