Fkn lol @ the dumb c***, breaks contracts and runs away dogging his mates like a bitch but won't have betting agency on his jersey?

Get fucked you hypocrite c*** rash.
The dickhead refuses to wear a jersey with
a gambling sponsors on it , but is nonetheless happy to receive his salary payments in full knowing that some part of the money is from the sponsors financial contribution to the club.
I havent read anywhere that he Is happy to receive a pro rata wage reduction that offsets the financial contribution that gambling sponsor made to the club which he does nor want appearing on his jersey.

I want him to play for any team other than us so we get a chance to smash him. Plus I get the added bonus of screaming at him again from the sidelines about being a traitor and a flog.:tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

Can someone explain this "he wouldn't play against the roosters" crap that keeps coming up? He was there all of two seasons. He was more than happy to play against the chiefs in super rugby so i don't see whats so special about the roosters.
I think Hill is a very good operator and negotiator. He signed Thompson with no leg to stand on other than we can only get better.

He is playing bluff. Showing $BW that we don't need him and using reverse psychology by saying " he wouldn't play against the Roosters". Basically letting him know you'll have to take less to play for them (which the $BW brand does not like taking unders) but play for us while we don't need you it will be on our terms.

Hill won't show all his cards.

Hill is playing bluff??? Hill is a bluff!

For starters:
1)He has failed miserably in his current tenure. Mad Monday & Port Macquarie he bent the Club & the players over while the NRL & it’s media buddies shafted & drilled hard & dry.

2)He failed miserably in negotiations with Holbrook, a local junior & lower grade coach.

Hardly admirable traits for a decent Bulldogs CEO.

Shit way to treat a club that made you.
Why is this thread even up?
He was never coming back, we were losing in 2008 and it didn't feel good.

Have to disagree on both points but they are your opinions and that's fine.

Mad Monday - What's Hill meant to do when the front page showed head coach twiddling Elliot's dick to Sweet Caroline? He couldn't defend the indefensible.

Port Macquarie incidents - the only thing Hill failed on here is he should have torn the contracts up himself. What both players did on a club promo weekend was pathetic and disrespectful to the club and fans that have had enough to say the least.

As for Holbrook, shit he is struggling with the Titans while Barrett is excelling in his coaching experience with a title contender in Penrith that has been attributed to his knowledge of the game. We haven't lost out here at all, imo

Disagree till the cows come home. Not sure if you’ve been involved in Mad Monday (MM) celebrations, but the antics of Elliott & co got up to is pretty stock standard & lame compared to most MMs. The problem is the Club through its CEO should manage the media reporting/exposure with more influence & clout, just like every other NRL club CEO does.
Pt Macquarie:- given that the Appeals Committee reinstated both players’ contracts defines his actions as wrong & incorrect & his public backing of the NRL’s decision to terminate the contacts as embarrassing for himself but more importantly the Club.
As for Holbrook, not sure of your football knowledge but Holbrook has got the Titans eyes up ,expansive football & disciplined more structured defence. Given he secured 2 of the best young forwards in Fifita & Fa’asuamaleaui to a Club like the Titans speaks volumes.
As for Barrett well he’s the ASSISTANT coach, he’s just a bridesmaid-let’s see how he scrubs up as the bride..... big difference in the roles & responsibilities of the Head Coach.

Nasheed here,
Ok guys I have news.

Sonny Bill Williams was on a zoom hookup with people from the club about a return for this and next year.

The bulldogs club made a video presentation on why Sonny should rejoin the dogs. Jackson and a few players were on to state their case 'we would love to have you' etc and apparently it was well put together and moving.
There was a big theme around being sorry for the past. The Steve Folkes era was long ago and the club has changed (this bit rubbed insider the wrong way) and that everyone would appreciate the fairytale of having him back.

Apparently Sonny was visibly moved and said he forgives the club for the sins of the past. Mentioned that he could have done things different as well. But the forgiveness from him is there.

He flat out refused though to come this season. Saying that the roosters had offered him a deal and that they told him he would be used off the bench which was good for his body. Said playing for the dogs would be taxing and he would be worn down with how they would use him (maybe that was discussed prior to the hookup) but he did say he would be very interested to play in 2021 if the Wolfpack deal falls through and the offer is right.

He was on 100% Footy tonight and questioned about his future and possibility of him finishing his career at the Bulldogs.

He said he was very flattered the Bulldogs could be interested and said the club will always hold a special spot in his heart. Said he would love to eventually help out in some capacity.

Don't shoot the messenger haha. I don't care what happens either way...

So Uncle Nick can fit another $900k player inside the Rooster’s cap. And pigs can fly! It’s about time contract amounts and third party payments were disclosed publicly.

He has forgiven the club, not talking about the other way round.

Basically the Club has sought out, and achieved from SBW forgiveness/redemption from all the personnel and events that led up to him being squeezed out in 2008.

The club and SBW are mutually fine with each other. The next step is whether he returns next year (as mentioned he ruled us out this year) if the offer is right.

I think most on here carry baggage regarding sonny and what happened 12 years ago.
Bottom line is whats best for canterbury moving forward, personally i am not bothered if he plays for us or not.(due to it be brought up all the time) I do believe we and the 2021 players would benefit from his inclusion though.
Side note: lets hope nicky cotric gets in tevitas ear about coming to belmore, having played together at the roiders
