Alamoti is highly spoken of and from what I’ve seen and heard, will either get a bench spot, if not a starting spot. He is the next big thing in the NRL. Kind of Katoni Staggs like
Eventually likely, he doesn't turn 18 til next year and isn't playing any footy atm..wont be ready early season, later on at best.

Shoupp didn't have a good game defensively today but he's been OK overall. He held his own against better teams last 2 weeks prior to today. His carries from our end are generally very good. Maybe a game like today will be an eye opener to him as a player in the top grade to look at his flaws and correct them. His very raw still but we need to allow guys like him time.

Unless he makes drastic improvements to his d, I don’t see him in our starting side next year.

Because this is the first time he’s shown a glimpse of bad defensive reads. Not made easier with the bellend on his wing
No it isn’t. He showed the same tendency to rush in from his first game in first grade.

He makes bad decisions in defence and in life. Just look at his COVID bubble breach and his haircut.

Schoupp is 19 and he runs for 100 metres plus every week, more than most of our forwards, Okunbor is the issue,he isnt even running for 100 metres plus, considering the size of him thats embarrassing, him shooting in off his wing puts everyone in trouble. Its not a coincidence that Okunbor comes in on Schoupps side, and Schoupps defensive reads are now being questioned.

A prime Matt Cooper would look bad defensively if he had to defend next to Okunbor
Keep blaming okunbor....Schoupp has been making bad defensive reads ever since he came into the side. Pretty silly to blame a guy who has been in the dude for 2 games for problems that have been evident all season.

As for Okunbor’s runs looking a bit tentative. He is returning from a severe injury and hasn’t even had the benefit of a run in reserves. It’s not unusual for a player to look tentative in situations like this. Did any of you watch Papenhuysen play on Friday?

Just amuses me that players like Okunbor get zeroed in on and turn to shreds, while kennel darlings like Schoupp get a free pass.

Because he runs hard... Okunbur for all his errors, was still a timid little bitch when hitting the ball up.
Did you watch Papenhuysen on Friday? Perfectly normal for a player returning from a significant injury to be tentative. Especially when he hasn’t had a run in reserves.

Both edges failed to slide to cover the wingers yesterday. It's a failing of the whole team. One of the things our defensive coaching has needed to address since early in the season but hasn't.

it hasnt been an issue all season at all, literally been highlighted this game, Okunbor is miles off the pace, unfortunately you cant admit that

Bullshit. Schoupp crested holes in the defensive line by rushing up in his very first game..... and as Alan pointed out, the whole team is failing to slide to cover the wingers and that has been a problem all season. What do people expect them to do? Hang on the wing and let the opposition just stroll through the gaping hole inside them?

It’s just plain silly to try snd Josh’s a bloke who has been in the team for two weeks for problems thst have persisted all season.

Schoupp is a kennel pet, so most aren’t willing to admit when he does wrong. How on earth can you blame okunbor for him rushing up like that?

Elliot is the dumbest **** in our footy club and that’s saying something with Napa on the roster and you give that stupid prick a pass. But let’s have a go at the 19 year old who is finding his way in first grade. Good work you

If you watch the Katoa try, clearly Okunbor just runs in off his wing for no reason hahahahah, wake up and watch the game
