There are several contenders this year. IMO the teams that are a realistic chance of getting the spoon are......TIGERS, WARRIORS, TITANS, SOUTHS, NEWCASTLE & CANBERRA.
I reckon it will come down to the Tigers & Warriors.
What does everyone else think ?

How about first coach to be sacked? Always an interesting one.

Warriors coach followed by Panthers coach. McGregor close 3rd.

Manly - still no halves pairing it seems.
Warriors - depends if Green and Johnson click. They'll be outside 8 but not spooners I reckon.
Dragons - Hard to gauge really.
Souths - If their halves don't fire (Wakler and Reynolds have no excuse).
Canberra - Sloppy as anything in the trial and no real urgency about them. Bugger all recruitment too.

Panthers - Probably too strong.
Tigers, Knights and Titans - have recruited really well and should be off the bottom.

For me... Canberra and Manly are the two in most danger.

Every team looks decent on paper but my money is on the underachieving warriors. Shaun Johnson will never lead them to a premiership....

Speaking of coaches. My mail is that Michael Maguire will be the Panthers coach in 2019 if they don’t make a significant impact this year.
Stephen Kearney is on death row.

Titans.

They have nothing player wise from about their top 14-15 down.

A backline of turnstiles in Hurrell, Brunko, Copley and Elgey.

Go watch the highlights from their trial v Brisbane. Good lord. Brenko is one of the laziest ***** to ever pull a pair of boots on.

Tigers or Warriors. Manly.. I think cherry evans and the brothers should do enough to get them enough wins.

Johnson should just give up on that basketcase and go win himself a premiership in Australia which would be highly likely if he slotted into any other team.
