1. Averillo or Fox
2. Burton
3. Johnson
4. Kenny/JMK
5. Don't want a hard running forward. Want a tackle busting forward with a good offload who runs good inside lines(Not dumb as dogshit like Pangai though). I would pay for Creighton @ roosters as there are slim pickings in all honesty.
I think your right, there isn’t much to choose from unless you look to Qld competition, UK League or New Zealand. Surely there is quality players out there. If you look at Melbourne Storm, they find players with talent all over the place. Craig Bellamy would be perfect to assist with Barrett. Bellamy said (at some stage) he was looking to not be the main coach anymore. We need all the help we can to get the club back to success. Fingers crossed we don’t have to wait any longer.

Fullback - Averillo
Five-Eighth - Burton
Halfback - Johnson
Hooker - Smith/Clark/Hodgson
Prop - Thompson + TPJ/Finucane/Taupau/someone else currently contracted

It's hard to say without knowing who is coming in

Currently I have
Fullback - JAC
Five-Eighth - Burton
Halfback - Averillo (interchangeable with Burton, no other options really)
Hooker - JMK
Prop - Thompson + Hetherington

Good choices, I think based on your list we should take a leaf out of storms books and have an interchange hooker to rotate with JMK. What does everyone think of Josh Hodgson from the Raiders. Is he any good?

No one wants Dufty, he ain't going to be getting anywhere near 500k, if he can even find a club.
Then get him. We are paying Allen more, least Dufty can win games. Yes he has to work on his defence but that can be improved. The one thing you can’t improve is speed and heaven knows we need it

The last thing we need is another pea hearted player, and that's exactly what dufty is when up against it

Dufty will likely be better than Corey Allen and Will Hopoate who will hopefully be gone shortly. We need someone slightly different to put in the mix who aren’t as obvious for defenders to read when they
come towards them in attack.

Averillo, JAC, Schoupp, Naden and Cotric (or Okunbor instead of Averillo depending on where he's playing) is probably faster than the average back 5 in the NRL? Besides Hopoate/Allan our back 5 is pretty good speed wise.

If we can get rid of those two (Hopoate/Allan) and replace them that would be ideal.

Speed to burn in the backline. Forward pack has plenty of speed also. Probably fastest pack in the comp. Plenty of power on one side to start our sets with Okunbor and cotric.

You are relying on Schoupp already? He's been underwhelming at best, not writing him off at all but lets be real he needs a lot of time. You can never have too much speed in your backline. Get halves that will feed them the ball and you'll score plenty

So explain please why JAC "is not a fullback"
You mean apart from the fact he hasn't played there...

There's an old saying, "don't rob Peter to pay Paul". Don't rob the team of an elite winger just to take some sort of Hail Mary on him as a fullback.

Honestly there is more to a fullback than running the ball, you can quote me, he won't pick up these things in one off season and he will ve very disappointing as a fullback.

I'll be happy if we can get Connor Watson, Tom Mikaele and Jaydn Su'a/TPJ. Not many good 9s out there I see long term. I think JMK hasn't been given enough of a chance behind a component pack who can go forward.

1. Averillo
2. JAC
3. Naden
4. Schoupp
5. Cotric
6. Burton
7. Johnson
8. Jack Hetherington
9. JMK
10. Thompson
11. TPJ
12. RFM
13. Jackson (C)

14. Connor Watson
15. Elliott
16. Mikaele
17. Doorey

I'd rely on Schoupp more than Dufty tbh. We also have Alamoti coming through and Allan still on the books.

I’m not arguing either way. But my opinion (5 cents worth) is based on the 2012 Grand Final when we played the Melbourne Storm - Bulldogs were also favourites to win the match. Anyway I was at the ground and witnessed what a modern day fullback does (Billy Slater). Wow, I’ve got to tell you, he was everywhere. He was in the attack, sometimes at dummy half and even had plenty of time to go back to get the ball after the Bulldogs kicked downfield. Then you go to modern day fullbacks and Tedesco is everywhere too. I understand Addo Carr wants to play there, he may go well. But there’s more to Fullback these days than just speed. If he ends up awesome there, I would be glad to be proven wrong. We should use him in his specialist position. He then can blow players off the park they his speed and will get a bit more time to catch a breath, than if he played at Fullback.

JAC is not a fullback, we should have learned this lesson with Bmoz, lets not fit players into positions they cant play, hes a world class winger, play him there
Bmoz was very good at fullback but his body couldnt handle it. JAC could easily play fullback and succeed.

Totally agree about JAC. He offers everything a fullback needs. He is a far better option than Dufty.

id love him on the wing and have a first class fullback to compliment him but he is also a very good option. id prefer him to play a roving role at winger and play avo at FB
