Right now we are the worst team in the NRL by a country mile.

Our roster, apparently the most expensive in the NRL, is shit.

The club apparently spends more on the football department than all the other clubs except the Broncos.

Fuck we are well managed.

And let's be honest, there's no big signing for next year going to come out of the woodwork, no Cooper Cronk.

So question, who plays fullback next season?
Hoppa has to go to centre. I'm a fan of Hoppa but the team needs an x-factor at fullback in attack.

I've watched Abbey play. He looks terrible, way off 1st grade standard.

Anyone with any ideas?

Chase Stanley :-)

In all seriousness would love to have seen Mbye given a go but probably too late, now that he is being earmarked as a Hooker.

Judge us end of year .
We have foran woods next year.
Winloosedraw .
We just need to get higher completions .
We are not a reactive board.
Des has made the semis every year his record speaks for itself.
Top 4 finish every year
2 grandfinals by 2019
We want a rockstar fullback
I hope this answered your questions by doing everything possible not to answer it at all .
Thank you for your feedback and gutsy support

We literally don't have a first grade fullback in our squad.

- Hoppa just isn't a threat, he chews up plenty of meters but that's it. His biggest plus was that he was "safe" but he's developing plenty of errors now too. To have a fullback play more then 10 games and not get over the line is embarrassing.

- Bmoz is not a fullback and never will be his positioning is terrible and his biggest weapon, his pace is gone.

- Abbey isn't ready for NRL and I have massive doubts that he ever will be. His body isn't developed enough to play fullback and he has limited pace.

- Bergamin/Carr have played fullback in ISP the last few weeks and are decent but to be putting faith in them to be the NRL fullback is ridiculous. They are both promising players

- Montoya would be my pick he does lack ball skills but has reasonable pace and runs hard. He is solid as a rock with kicks. He played most of his juniors before being graded at fullback so it's not a completely foreign position did him.

Id love to see mbye move to fullback. I honeatly think its potentially his best position. Play cleeland in the halves with foran, and nu brown at hooker. Foran can control the show and cleeland can just play off the cuff as he sees fit, and mbye can chime in when he sees fit.

I totally agree, I have said the same before with Woolford on the bench, call me ambitious...that's only if we don't get Cronk
Let's hope we clear some DEADWOOD

Im interested to see how mbye would go also.

But I must question,
How's his stamina?
What's he like under the high ball?
And what's his positional play at the back like?

Unless he is a gun in those 3 areas, then he won't be any good at fullback

Woolford is miles off first grade with Lichaa now back in ISP he doesn't even make the team.

From what i understand he played most of his junior footy at fullback. I also think that he is one of the most athletic players at the club so i doubt stamina would be an issue. Plusbhe can kick and has an incredible pass on him. Did you see him on freddies pass off?? Google that shit if you havnt. He is a beast.

Hard to say. I thought Abbey showed potential but he wasn't great in NSW Cup for a while and now he's either injured or has been dropped from the NSW Cup side. Not sure which. The other NSW Cup fullbacks look OK but not first grade level.

Mbye is a maybe but I'd prefer someone else.

Maybe Montoya. Powerful in attack but his defence is starting to look like rubbish. He may be better in defence when he's covering area and not relying on his inside man.

Good point on the passing. He has one of the best long range passes I've ever seen. Worked great while he was at second receiver at 5/8. Should work well for fullback too.

Mbye. His pace and agility is wasted at hooker. All he does is pass and tackle, he doesnt run.

3 games left.

1. Mbye
2. Bmoz (retire ffs)
3. Jmoz (retire ffs)
4. Hoppa (would fix that sides D)
5. Montoya
6. Stanley
7. Frawley
9. Lichaa

If it looks like succeeding, we'll worry about next years line up when it comes.

If moses was sniffing round at fullback and foran could put him in a hole there's not to many players who could touch him.
Would love to see him there the dude has speed to burn

The real question here is how much money Hoppa is on? He has been playing fullback so is he on premium fullback money? Knowing this shit club, the answer is yes so we are left with another dud.

A part timer fill in fullback.

No specialist fullback since 2013.

He was originally on small money because Parra were paying part of his bill and he wouldn't play Sundays. The fact that he's now playing Sundays and no longer getting Parra funds means that we're probably paying him premium fullback money.
