Team didn’t look distracted to me. They looked like a team that gave it everything they had and were let down by ill discipline and inexperience.

Pretty much this. Manly had the experience to win the little moments that mattered. Fucking sucks, but we will learn from this and be better for it next year.

This is a positive thread commending the team on its effort and vast improvement and arguing against the blaming of individual players. Do sone of you even bother to read things before you comment on them?
 
Anyone blaming players individually need to maybe take a breath before saying stupid shit. Sure we are all pissed, but don't take aim at the players... they punched way above their weight!!!

That Manly run it on 5th tackle try was all due to fatigue of small guys having to give everything they've got and stuffed and us not handling ad lib attack.

We need some bigger forwards and also an organiser who has time and someone who can pull a try outa nothing. We don't have those qualities (as yet. We will).

We've defended well all season but there were at least 6 or 7 missed tackles on that play alone. I'm sure that will be played over and over during the offseason as it's not indicative of the effort they've played with in defence all year.

We miss a shitload of tackles. You know we are the worst team in the comp for missing tackles right? 200 more missed tackles than the Storm for the year. Its the 2nd efforts that get us over the line.

Where was the second effort?

Go watch that last try again and watch #6 from go to woah. Enough said.
 
Just to clarify for all of you who are saying Fox is to blame… that’s bullshit. The team looked plenty focused to me. Fox started our recruitment drive and this club will forever owe him a debt.

Watch Critta as well in that try. We don't have the players or experience together as yet to cover every break like the Panthers or Storm.

Yeah I know.. We've been great at scrambling and covering all year but clearly not on that play. You should never concede a try on last tackle when they're running it and have to go 60 plus metres.
