Experience mainly, still gutted we are done for the year, but have enjoyed this year more than the years 2012 & 2014 when we were in the gf’s.

mainly because we are back playing proper footy.

be thankful what we had this year, our bench will be stronger next year which will help us stay longer in the fight against the better sides.

Regardless, you see him change minds once it looks like kiraz was going to take it, he went from trying to catch it to tackling kiraz

Abysmal call from klein

How the hell do you catch a ball with your arms wrapped around the player?

Bunker call uses simplistic cues to make decisions…“looking at the ball” means he’s going for a catch, never mind what his arms are doing

Salmon purely and simply because the spud annoyed me as usual

get in the water and back to the fish you muppet

Amen to that. One game that he scores 2 tries doesn’t make up for the 20-odd games he makes dumb mistakes repeatedly

No one is to blame for a loss

WHAT don’t you guys get it’s our first year and we came 6th that’s a win.. for us
No one will beat Melbourne or Penrith or Cronulla
We did just fine.
They put together a team in a year and finished 6th position.
Be proud

Cronulla …. Wtf!!

We were better team and Turbo was clearly far from 100% & we still lost.. the loss rests more on our halves as they needed to create more in 2nd half..

I thought Sexton was poor the whole game. Just did Flanno stuff most of the game. Last 3 weeks he’s been rubbish and can see why CC started him in cup.

I blame the low expectations i had for this season....

I mean, here we are, our season over in week 1 of finals and i dont feel that bad. I feel proud.

I shouldn't. I should be upset as most of you guys. But somehow, i feel like this was our final. All year, i just wanted us to make finals. We got there, and after 2 really poor performances, we played well enough to win, we scored 4 tries a piece, and only lost due to a conversion.

It probably hasnt hit me yet, or maybe i just knew we weren't really worthy of progressing to week 2.

All i know is my expectations for next year will now be higher, and i hope the team delivers.

Spot on. I'm an eternal optimist when it comes to the Dogs but I thought they'd finish about 15th at the start of the season so it's very difficult to be critical considering their efforts.

We have less players in the NRL Rich List of the 100 top paid players in the game than any other team (only five). One of these players didn't play a game (Ryan Sutton) and he was our only front rower in the list. Considering the fact that the top five highest paid front rowers in the game (Fa'asuamaleaui, Haas, AFB, Paulo and Tapine) failed to get their teams into the semi-finals, our much criticized forwards did one hell of a job. Obviously Tino was injured for the majority of the season but the Titans still had two other front rowers in the Rich List (Fotuaika and Liu).

As you said, expectations will be higher so the pressure is on in 2025.

And towering prop Tuku Hau Tapuha made his presence known with 19 runs for 181 metres, five tackle busts and 24 tackles — two misses.

My summary is what a season guys really.
When we lost our first two games of the year we were all thinking the worst.
If anything Top 4 cruled us big time had we won a couple more we just lost.
It is what it is,but onto the biggest positive the back end of the season, amazing.
One stage we won 11 from 13.
Positives there are so many, each of our youngsters will be better for the experience .
With forawards we recruited we will be also better in attack,2025 I’m expecting a top 4 finish.
Let’s hope officiating improves also in 2025.

It was a great season. We overachieved simply by making the finals, and built a solid foundation work on for the future.

That call was shocking from Klein. You know he is a shit ref when there are lots of YouTube videos showcasing his screwups.

And Klein is supposed to be the NRL's top referee.

As soon as Klein and Sutton fuck off from the refereeing ranks the better

Can't blame anyone in particular, as I think we played really well, bottom line is that we lost that game in the last 20 mins. We did more than enough to win, but little moments killed us.

We might of got away with these during regular season games, but when you are coming up against experienced players like DCE, Turbo, etc, then these little moments will cost you a game.

I haven't mentioned the 50/50 calls that are ruled by the ref such as the double knock on/forward pass or the potential illegal scrum play because they were out of our control.

1. Morrin dropping the ball on half way line 2nd tackle in the 66th minute
2. Kikau charge down that bounces sideways. in hindsight this is such a low percentage play, they were getting a kick away on their 30
3. Mahoney penalty - I think Curran reacting actually forces ref to blow penalty.
4. Skelton dropped ball over try line
5. Mahoney grubber into in goal for seven tackle set.

Just wasn't our day, the footy gods were not on our side.

DCE cheated us the ref should’ve picked it up that’s just plain and simple and that was a coward act
And also it was a foward pass at half time
BULLSHIT stuff id be fine if we lost if it was referring was good but that ref ducked us as well bad calls and Moron dropped the fucking ball

when I heard about the scrum play it PISSED me off

That's bullshit

Atkins has a hard on for reed, he was the same ref in a previous game who cracked down on reed for no reason

It's the media bullshit from the likes of Crawley the flop that played its part in reed being targeted

Dce is a bigger instigator and has done it in numerous games, yet there's been no media attention on him, hence the refs do fuck all about him

Manly instigated that whole incident, garret got legally smashed and garret objected to getting smashed, it should have been a play the ball.

If there was a penalty, then penalise dce for choking Curran and dragging him to the ground, that's what started everyone running in

Isn't 3rd man in a sin bin too now...

Why is DCE allowed to get away with so much crap?
