Hooker + another front rower in the Hetherington mould and get rid of the big FAIL Napa!!! what a useless lump of pelican shit!!

We have Thompson ,Ogden, Hetherington and To’omaga. RFM can easily play prop and Napa. That’s not too bad . If we have 1 or 2 young blokes to play some bench time if injuries hit, we should be ok in the front row.
We do need a top shelf hooker though.But Look at the improvement in Api Koroisau during last year with Baz coaching him. Katoa or JMK will look better now we have a halfback to direct the attack and a coach that can coordinate it. And if he can develop Wakeham , Averillo or Lewis into a Utility/Replacement dummy half. We aren’t looking too bad, particularly if we can get Burton ,JAC or BSmith. If we get 2 of those 3 we make the 8 easily IMO.

Yeh Api Koroisau did improve in 2020, but he always had some x factor about him. More than ive seen in our existing hookers. He had the underlying talent, just wasn't as consistent before 2020

Our forwards rarely ran with support . it was mostly one out . And we hardly ever had players in motion or direction. All these things made our attack predictable and easy to defend against. So our dummy halves were almost always looking at a set defensive line. Our attack will improve and I’m confident our 9 will too.

It’s hard for our hooker to be consistent or improve though ,when we had 2coaches and a third appointed prior to the end of the year we had 11 seperate spine combinations last year. the longest streak any combination was together was 3 consecutive weeks ( That happened twice) Round 10 -12 was one of those streaks,Arguably our best period,where we were robbed vs the dragons beat the knights and were robbed vs Parra. Next year we will have organised game plans and a more settled roster ,which will give them consistency, which will give them confidence, which will help them improve.
