Chambers is Hoppa V2 - old and slow. What value is there in signing Chambers when he’s 32 years old? Panic signing from the Sharks.

He couldn't be any worse than Hopa surely in defence (or attack). If it were just until the end of this season like he's signed with the Sharks I can't see the harm. We're desperately short of centres.

Ferris is a young, athletic, highly rated junior centre who I think tore his MCL against Brisbane last season when he was playing really well and looked like breaking out..

What’s the point just for this year. It’s a write off year anyways. As hard as it is to fathom its all about long term now and I have faith that the people in the position to make decisions will make the right ones.
