I’m actually a little surprised people here are aging Tedesco.
But then again I doubt we all watch roosters games.

he has lost a yard of pace. Good player but is getting very close to going Hoppa style. It’ll take two years for the. Immunity to catch on, but trust me. He started going down slightly last year max it’s accelerated.
Beyond that, I’ve always thought it’s common knowledge turbo the better fullback, just that teddy can’t play other positions like turbo can.

Had a bit of trouble with the backline. Turbo is the best fullback in the competition but theres a real lack of quality wingers. Turbo is more of a winger than Paps who I originally had on the bench. Manu and Staggs are easy choices for centres. Snubbed Tedesco as I don’t think hes as good as he was two years ago. Remembered there’s a guy called RTS who now plays Rugby but used to be a winger in the NRL. Snubs here are Latrell, Wighton, Olam, Holmes and JAC.

Halves pick themselves. Hughes and Luai would be second choices here.

Cook over Grant slightly. Considered Brandon Smith.

Forwards were pretty straightforward for me. Pick the best players in each position. Really big snub for Asofa-Solomona. Had to take two out of AFB/Paulo/NAS and felt he was the least versatile of the three.

Ponga is probably the guy you want on your bench as he covers three spine positions whilst also being capable of breaking a game. Snubbed Wighton and Walker here. Grant isn’t necessary with Cook there. Upon further thought I ended up going with Jarome Hughes as he covers the same positions as Ponga but is slightly more reliable and probably overall the better footballer.

Turbos only weakness is cleaning up in goal. Put a grubber through with chasers and he’s a chance of letting you score,

Initially couldn't decide between Latrell Mitchell or Kotoni Staggs. If it was next season I'd probably would have gone with Staggs.

Ensured plenty of hard working forwards in starting line up with the bench all about coming on and inflicting carnage. Went Hynes on bench as he covers 3 of 4 spine positions. He might have to cover hooker too if Grant goes down as not sure how a four fingered Crichton will go at dummy half.

Some unlucky non selections as plenty of good players. This should be a well balanced side which was the only reason I picked Manu over Staggs. I would also have Papps and Turbo switching up a bit during the game. Went Mulitalo as he's quick, big and a good finisher - maybe Coates or Addo Carr is a better choice.
