Dark is one of the best series of the last decade. The only issue I had with it is that I got lost with the different names. Partially because they're German names, but also because I have no memory for names. And if you don't remember names, this show gets super confusing.

I had the cast names open on my phone when watching as I'm terrible with names also :tearsofjoy:

I'm 1/4 German and I was still super confused. Jonas and Jana are linked with Nickleclogstad and Shingleheimershmidt, which is important to remember because Danglespitglfligneshart is the daughter of Stinglefamerschit
 
Really annoying that their follow up show got axed. It was super slow but got really interesting toward the end of the first season, then got axed.
 
The new Dexter series has been a lot better than I expected it to be. There's some stupid and ridiculous stuff, but overall it has been great. Stacked with good actors and the latest episode is top notch.

Doing a complete rewatch at the moment. Up to the season with John Lithgow, which is probably the best season. I've noticed that the latest series has pretty good reviews. I'll get there in a few weeks time.
 
Now this will probably not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I have just binge watched Season one of the MAX show Bookish.

This is how I discovered it….. I love all things Dr Who and an actor/director/writer by the name of Mark Gatiss is the creator/ star of the show.
Just a six parter as are most British shows with three distinct stories ( although common threads flow through the series).
Set after WW2, a detective story theme about a book shop owner.
Like I said not everyone will like it but worth a watch.Has a twist in it that some may not agree with.
New series has already been commissioned and will air I think British summer.
 
I haven't had a favourite TV show for about 20 years. Too many reality shows & remakes. Movies & TV shows these days are junk, they have run out of ideas. Maybe AI will come up with something decent. We can only hope.

I enjoyed it. There was some criticism because it's very much a "praise gun violence" show, but it's just a decent show. Pratt played the role much better than I thought he would. The concept has been done way too many times (Punisher still did it best), but it's a good show with some excellent action.

They also have a prequel series coming out soon.

My main gripe with it is the lighting, it's way too dark and can almost barely see what's going on, plus I feel as though it would have worked better as a 6 episode series as it was dragged out a little bit, aside from that I'm quite enjoying it. There's a season 2 coming out soon as well as the prequel with Taylor kitsch so that should be interesting

First episode of season 2 of Peacemaker is out. Very slow start but ends with a bang.

It references the Superman movie constantly so best to watch that first. If you watched the "previously on", they even change the ending of season 1 to replace the Justice League with the Justice Gang from Superman.
