When my dad retired from football and combat sports, he took up lawn bowls. He used to like to sing the theme song from this show. When it got to the part, Car 54 where are you? He would add in, "at the bowling club".

A fond childhood memory.

I remember seeing the circus at Roselands when I was a kid. I don't think it was this show. 1966 seems a bit early. Maybe early 1970s, or so.
