TAANE Milne’s playing future is in tatters after the Wests Tigers tore up the young centre’s contract for a second breach of the NRL’s illicit drugs policy.
The Tigers announced 22-year-old’s contract termination on Friday night.
His first contravention occurred at another club.

Milne had only just joined the Tigers on a two-year deal after playing 18 games for St George Illawarra but failed to make his NRL debut for the club in the opening rounds of the season.
“After due process and full consideration, and in collaboration with the NRL’s Illicit Drug Policy guidelines, the club has made the decision to terminate Milne’s playing contract,” a Wests Tigers statement read.
“His behaviour contradicts the values, behaviours and culture being created at the club.
“Wests Tigers have committed to providing Milne with support and counselling during this challenging time.”
