Sherwins kicking game was better than Johns. Short by a long way, long on par or a bit better.

shifty used to put up running bombs where he’d chase them, catch and offload in the one motion. From 2001 he was amazing.

Shifty was as good or better than most of his contemporaries...easily our best since Steve Mortimer

Saw him play. He could be scintillating at times, and very ordinary at other times.

I remember an interview where one of our players was asked about McGrady's playing style; he said: "Ewen has the opposition guessing what his next move is, and he takes them by surprise. Problem is we don't know what he's going to do, either".

Hilarious Chris and I can remember that interview as well.

For me it’s Turvey who was a consistent dominant genius for 10 years and a long stretch to the amazing Sherwin who when he was on, was amazing.

Shifty was the form 7 for a good 3 years but just burnt out way too quick.

More recent memory would have to be Trent Hodkinson, how many big games did we win with him controlling the team? He also ended the maroons dominance lol
