How far has rugby union has fallen in a hole.

Test players used to be household names and heroes.

Nowdays most Aussies would be lucky to name 2-3 players...and that's the sports mad ones at that.

Dave Rennie hasn't helped either.

The real problem with rugby in AU is that only the flop schools in the elite suburbs play it. It’s the Same schools that all the sexual predators come from

Yep..but goes further than that..it’s the grassroots of rugby.. their development, their focus on GPS schools for players..the lacklustre club rugby.. lack of promotion..lack of exposure.. Gosh 20 odd years..Super Rugby was popular..most people knew who the Wallaby captain was, who a number of players were… Now it’s hard pressed to find people who do know.. It needs a massive overhaul.

Well I gave it to the Wobblies when they lost to Italy I gotta praise em when they win..a superb comeback from 21 points down to win 39-34 against the Welsh at Cardiff..
