Disgusting. No wonder I very rarely have so called ice cream. Noticed that tastes have changed drastically. As a treat purchased a box of Cornetto recently and noticed that they did not seem to freeze as hard as they used to and the flavour was pretty bland. Now I know why. Funny that brand trust means you usually don’t check what the ingredients are.

Typical of the manufacturers to use cheaper inferior ingredients yet prices are not adjusted accordingly, they stay the same or increase.

Calling them out is the only way to even try to get change. Should hit those companies at their bottom line; ditch their products and make them understand that consumers do matter. Unfortunately unless you have had the “ real thing” you don’t know any better.

Used to be a cake shop in Yagoona near the station that made the best lime spiders.
That was a Saturday special after visiting husbands great grand mother in the local nursing home.

Have not had a mint leaf in years. The last time I did have one it tasted yuck, not anything like the ones we had when I was a kid. In the 1960’s
