Hope the season does get cancelled TBH. The only clubs left in the running to win this corrupt competition are all garbage, except for the Raiders. Would be a laugh if it got stopped, Eels fans would shit the bed and claim till their dying day that "this was our year!".Here we fucking go. It's only a matter of time until these fucking idiots have the game shut down, and us fans have to cope without the game we all love. The selfishness of some people is unbelievable at times!!!
Same, IMO the comp shouldn't have restarted. Imagine the uproar, if the Broncos were the ones that caused the comp to be cancelled.Hope the season does get cancelled TBH.
They should throw the book at them!Surely they'll not only get a massive fine as a club and as individuals but also have suspensions on the players involved?
They deserve to be docked 2 competition points for this serious breachSurely they'll not only get a massive fine as a club and as individuals but also have suspensions on the players involved?
Yep these players even if not 'stood down' would need to go into 14 day isolation..Surely this gets some players stood down from the NRL? How come the NRL aren't firing any players over COVID breaches as the government could just pull the plug on the NRL if they feel and cost them millions of dollars but other stuff that doesn't affect the game at a whole gets harsher punishments...

BREAKING: Broncos CLEARED by QLD police over pub lunch scare
Police have cleared the Broncos over their pub lunch.
Queensland Police have cleared the Broncos of any breach of official COVID-19 guidelines over a pub lunch earlier this month.
It emerged Wednesday that up to 10 Broncos players, including Tevita Pangai Jr, David Fifita and Corey Oates, attended a Brisbane hotel on August 1.
The NRL has yet to make a determination, with sanctions still a possibility for the players despite the conclusion of the police probe.
The players visited Everton Park Hotel for lunch following the end of a two-week hard lockdown after their home match against the Sharks.
“The police investigation, which commenced on August 9, found no breach of the Chief Health Officer’s public health directions,” a statement read.
But some patrons suggested the players had been drinking in the sports bar and playing poker machines, throwing into doubt whether they had breached COVID-19 protocols agreed between Queensland Health and the NRL.
NRL players are allowed to visit restaurants and cafes in small groups, provided they don’t mix with members of the public.
Channel 7 reported Thursday that the Broncos had been cleared following a Queensland Police investigation.
They were cleared of QLD protocols, not NRL protocols. Being QLDer's the NRL need to throw the pop-up book of rules at them.BREAKING: Broncos CLEARED by QLD police over pub lunch scare
