It seems so simple to me but people still don’t understand it.
Putting it down to ‘right wing terrorism’ is self delusion in the highest.
It’s a cocktail of a few things.
Firstly,
Remember America has a historical distrust of their government, where the government has tried to enslave their citizens. This bore the second amendment and all that Jazz. Everyone needed a gun, a gun culture was formed and this is why there are simply a lot of guns out there. This is an important foundation.
Secondly it’s multiculturalism.
11% of the population are basically acting like the savage culture they were from in Africa. Couple that’s with a gang culture and general poverty amongst the low IQ of the African race and you have the general scrappy Tupac style drive by sloppy gun crime. So now the gun foundation has met with a violent gang culture and poverty. Two ingredients to the cocktail.
Then add the Mexican drug lords from the south and people with no identity on American soil crossing the border. Cartel ops are ruthless and they are all over the USA. A new ingredient to the cocktail I described.
And when non cartel Chico’s know they have an advantage in robbery because they are largely unidentifiable they just might take this option up. These two are the point Trump has been talking about.
That’s 4 ingredients now.
Now up to this point, this has been America up till the late nineties.
Civilised White and Asian America could comfortably live knowing that as long as they stay out of black and Mexican (read - poor) areas then they should be fine and be able to live a comfortable life, as Gun crime has now largely just been a gang thing. No mass murders.
Now enter the complex 5th ingredient.
This is the generation bought up on Violent movies than are pushing the envelope with every year. AND, the violent video games I just mentioned. MASS SHOOTINGS HAVE GONE UP IN DIRECT CORRELATION TO THIS.
Mass shootings wasn’t a thing that people over 45 experienced at their school.
So now we have densitised kids growing up atheist (no fear of hell) with broken families and mental illness on the back of puberty shooting up schools. These also seem to be lefties socialists.
Fuck.
There are two dessert ingredients too.
The Islamic terrorist, basically doing ISIS ideologies, but they aren’t huge in America for some reason, and the right wing terrorist who is rebelling against ingredients 2-5. Anti multicultural hell.
You put all these together and you can see the shitstorm that is America.
How to fix this?
Million dollar question.
Firstly, don’t blame the NRA, critique them if you like, but the fact is they do not want to see mass shootings either.
And a gun buyback scheme like in Australia won’t work because the horse has bolted. You can’t recall 400 million guns and 50 percent of the population unwilling to entertain the idea from the first ingredient I mentioned.
So that leaves two things.
Ban or censor violent video games,
Or,
Get better at identifying mental health issues and limit the assault weapons in the community.
^ this last line is the answer for me.
The Right are calling for mental illness identification and the left will want assault weapons ban so they both win to a degree.
We just got to make it harder to obtain a weapon, so drunk Dave who just got fired and dumped by his bitch can’t go on a revenge spree, or the weirdo from school can’t get a an AK47 gun from the cabinet and take out his school.
And perhaps listen to Trump, to remove the Mexican/ Hispanic element.
We can get life back to how it was in the 50s at least.
But we got to face some truth.
