There has been an ongoing investigation into deep sea mining. The UN put a blanket ban on it as it could be potentially catastrophic. All countries agreed. Until now.

Trump just signed an executive order pushing forward on deep sea mining in US waters and International waters. Many have pointed out that this is a full breach of international law.

Sounds about right. Also, 'Executive Orders', once upon a time at least, were subject to review under that annoying thing called the Constitution, and US laws and stuff. So the 'US waters' bit is kinda iffy, but the 'international waters' bit is just laughable. And also, deep sea mining would surely be harmful to marine life?
 
The aviation post above is distorted in more than one way, but no surprises coming from the sewer. Boeing doesn’t sell anything completed for $55m - their cheapest delivery price is closer to $100m for a B737 MAX 7. So unless the $55m refers to progress payments (doesn’t seem to) it’s wrong. Airbus hasn‘t been ‘handed’ anything either because they are also affected by tariffs and supply chain issues currently see many Airbus aircraft ordered today unable to be delivered for 2-5 years model and other airline choices (eg: engines) depending. Trump’s comments of course are nowhere near the mark in terms of ‘commitments‘. Chinese airlines via their central governing agency CAAC order aircraft but pay in stages including a final payment and transfer of title on delivery - up to which point they can defer or withdraw from the purchase if their contract negotiators did their job properly (which they usually do). That’s why Boeing are now looking to on-sell cancelled Chinese orders elsewhere including Malaysia Airlines. Stick to the facts kids, not alarmist nonsense emanating from the sewer.
 
Among the truckload of dribble and bullshit Donny spewed in his interview with Time this week he said his ‘I’ll end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours‘ thing was said ‘figuratively’, was an ‘exaggeration’ and ‘in jest’ - but it’s OK because ‘I said it will end, and it will end’. The same week your Secretary of State and Secretary of Defence said the US will ‘walk away’ if a deal can’t be done. A ‘deal’ that essentially gives Russia everything they want except an election they can fix to install a puppet like they had before Zellenskyy. Sigh.

I got one from a trip to the US a few years ago - wore it up the shops once as a pisstake - just to see the reaction. That was around 2022.

Haven't felt that uncomfortable since I saw a hot chick once on a packed train as a teenager who was giving me vibes and got a semi. Give em kudos for the balls but hey - its a fine line between bravery and stupidity.

I dont care who supports who politically but seeing six 50+ aussie fellas wearing MAGA hats like they are part of some secret club is embarrassing AF. Why people out here supporting political movements of other countries.

Some use their mid life crisis to get a piece on the side. Others buy Harleys and jet skis. And others start buying LNN Onlyfans subscriptions (yes - we know our demographic).

And others decide fck it - I'm just doing something really fckng stupid because I'm ugly, got no cash or I'm out on midgets.

At some point they'll realise there are ugly chicks too. Damn more respectable tbf...
