Story is Minister thought it may be him. Contacted Dad who is law enforcement. Dad asked kid and he confessed so they walked him in. This was all 200km away from the Uni.

Kid has absolutely clean socials. And went to that Uni (I think).

Sounds like Dad could have got him out of there no fuss but chose not too.

Very tough call.

The shooter did have engravings on the ammo, but it was mainly just pointless stuff. Memes mainly, plus some references to anti-fascist stuff. One casing had "hey fascist, catch". Another had an up arrow, right arrow and 3 down arrows which they think is a reference to Helldivers 2. And a bunch of other internet memes.

Reports are unconfirmed yet, but there's some reports that while he wasn't a registered voter, his dad is a registered Republican voter. The family has many military members and some NRA members.

Take with a grain of salt though 'cause nothing confirmed yet (other than his dad being law enforcement)
 
Kash Patel has praised the FBI for bringing the guy to justice so quickly, and he has said that the support from Trump and Vance helped make this arrest so quickly.

As a reminder, he was turned in by his dad. Law enforcement had nothing to do with it.

But there now is a report saying that his dad didn't turn him in. Apparently his dad approached him and he confessed, then his dad didn't know what to do so he called his local pastor then the pastor called in the US Marshalls.

So if he denies when he talks to his father . He probably gets away with it?

OK, there's now some fact checks into it.

-There's reports that the shooter himself is a registered Republican (but that report is false)

- There's reports he was wearing a Trump shirt (that was fake)

- There's reports he donated to Trump's campaign (that was false)

- There's reports he is a member of the young Democrats (also fake)

- The reports that his dad is law enforcement also turned out the be incorrect (he has the same name as a former member of the sheriff's office)

Maybe. Apparently he is refusing to talk to investigators, but they already have a fair amount of evidence. He left his hand print on the gun, and his room mate gave police messages that aren't fully incriminating but put him in the right place and right state of mind. He also had a family member say that he constantly ranted about how much he hates Charlie Kirk.
