Yeah, I mentioned it earlier when he was planning to do it.

There is an interesting history around it. George Washington founded the Department of War and that was the name of the military department up until the end of WW2. It used to be just The Department of War. No Army, Navy, Airforce. After WW2 they split into the Department of Army, Department of Navy, and Department of Airforce. Shortly after that they decided to have a single department that watches over all 3 and that became the Department of Defence.

So there is a history component, but in traditional Trump fashion it's also highly stupid. Trump's one key goal right now is for him to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Renaming the DOD to "War" basically means he has shot himself in the foot.

Seems odd that Trump threatened to declare war on Chicago over night and everyone has become so desensitised to Trump's antics that it barely made the news.

Well. Using the fact they sent in the National Guard because some 15 yr old chick beat up big balls, my guess its a low benchmark.

And your 'ticket skimmer' was known to police. His last arrest was for misusing 911 because he kept calling them telling them someone had put a man made substance inside his body and it was controlling how he moved, what he ate and what he said.

So random dude with mental just randomly stabbing people to death vs big balls telling off a 15 year old black chick and getting his ass handed to him.

trump might be taking this to the brink in order to maximise his payout from pharma and then fire RFK, he is showing signs of wavering right at the winning post
 
So TPT has asked for an emergency SCOTUS hearing because the tariffs were found illegal. Long story short, Congress do tariffs not POTUS.

So what exactly is the legal argument?

This is gold. Basically, with tariffs the US is #winning. If they have to pay them back, they are #losing. So you should just let TPT do tariffs.

Noting a law was specifically put in place to stop POTUS doing tariffs (after Nixon went nuts), this will be the perfect indicator of whether SCOTUS is a complete sell out or not.

Guess we'll know in a few weeks.

I wouldn't be surprised if at some point they try to argue that Trump was himself trafficked by Epstein.
