Let’s see the loyalty replicated by Manly when Toms hamstrings turn into Forans hamstrings

Sack them, we all should be dwz loyalists. The guy is a machine and Idgaf how good Tommy lawnmower is.

The dogs culture and "dna" is the polar opposite of the posh lifestyles of those living in the northern beaches. We don't do tans and long walks on the beach here in Bankstown. We eat El Jannah

Good. They are north shore wankstains who are about as blue and white as Des Hasler was. We need to find players who will buy into
Our culture.,

Don’t overlook that this ‘story’ was in the Daily Terrorgraph - therefore the accuracy of the content must always be questioned.

What rubbish writing. How many times can you repeat ‘we’re not too worried about it’ in one story?

Most likely the whole thing is crap, peddled by bottom feeding player managers and a slow ‘news’ day at the Terrorgraph.

Would love to have them here, but I can’t see them leaving Manly.

It actually increases my respect for them, as you don’t see many players stay loyal to a club for possibly significantly less money (Roosters not included, as players always take ‘less’ money to play there).

What a load of shit journalism.

We can't talk to no one until November but they declined...yeah right.
Next, even if they did decline, it was probably due to the fact that they're in the semis and want to concentrate on that. Even Jake said that you never know in this day and age.
Finally, if they want to stay at Manly...let them. Hopefully they bang on about how much they love Manly and they lose all interest from other clubs and the ***** pay them $150K each....see how that goes down with "we love Manly and don't want to leave". Maybe they can relocate the ***** to Perth while they're at it.

DWZ is more than capable and runs harder than those 2 put together.

The quotes are not recent. They're using quotes from weeks to months ago. Honestly it's just going to come down to loyalty vs an extra 500k between the 2.

Loyalty Shmoyalty... Still couple of months until November 1st and ANYTHING can happen in that timeframe. You just never know.. Someone bangs someone else Mrs or someone has a falling out with this guy this n that or a player has a falling out with the coach.. I just hope we would be in a position to swoop in should this be the case. Otherwise fuck em

Notice neither are quoted saying they rejected a meeting. They said they want to stay at manly and the reporter has made up the rest.
An informal meeting to discuss interest to join our club? Seeing as they aren’t off contract until 2021 I don’t know why we would be meeting with them unless we want to get fined

Good luck to them with outright loyalty these days. If they don't test the market in the smallest way they're going to be sacrificing some potential earnings.

Did I read it wrong sounds like they rejected the meeting because they want to focus on the finals not because they are rejecting us... anyone else read it this way?

How can you formally reject someone who can't formally offer you something?
Or for that matter have a meeting with someone to tell them what is on offer at Canterbury when you cant approach, negotiate, entice someone until AFTER November 1. The NRL and contracts and the date deadlines are simply bullshit.

Wouldn’t write it off . They aren’t gonna talk to clubs this time of year just wait till next year what if we offer a mil and manly can’t offer that or even close.. either way manly are ether gonna lose their stars... or pay overs . Still believe Hasler will get second year syndrome
