I am in no way a Pay apologist.
His overall team structure and how he got us playing left a lot to be desired.
But he jagged wins with the lots of Lewis, Holland, Priest, Lichaa, a broken Foran and the like in his squad.

If Pay leads this team - I truly do believe he jags a couple of more wins than where we're at now (maybe 1-2 more). But even that is not good enough.

Also up until K Moore we had never sacked a coach. The only club along with Canberra to not. Look at us now lol sack central..how disappointing. Sacked Des 5 years ago and seem to be in the same hole with much better players..

Yes but chucking someone else in, who may be just as bad, could be far worse as far as our reputation goes with other coaches, player managers and players.

If we dont get that new better quality coaching staff we are back to square one results wise and lots of even more angry fans.

This has to be professionally handled and thought thru best practice for the club's sake.

Barrett quitting would probably be the best outcome at this point - he appeared completely out of ideas n emotionally drained during the press conference on Friday.

Whilst he has fallen well short as a coach some of the players efforts have been embarrassingly unprofessional and a reflection what the club doesnt need.

With Gus at the club as an adviser you cant blame the whole thing on Trent.
