Macro yes, micro no. Board would sign off on headcount and major strategic calls - not the way it’s done - otherwise nothing would get done at board meetings especially if it was down to whether anyone got a farewell ham! .

Let me preface with the point I agree with the decisions.
However, forget your buzzwords & the jargon, the fact remains the Board were aware & approved each termination; the manner in which each employee was notified is amateurish. This is an organisation, a business not a P&C committee. These employees have provided long & good service, the manner in which this business was conducted is just poor.
