Cant remember last time we were first during the season.. would have been over 10years ago..

This one i feel is for all you kennelers! All the ***** that have supported each other on this platform in the dark days! This is the real turning point. Im slowly coming out of the dark places thanks to this team and this kennel!

Reed had some silly moments again that could have cost us. If he can learn some control our defensive intensity will be hard to beat
 
It's awesome seeing young guys like Hayes and Hayward step up in the way they have.makes a huge difference to where a team ends up at the end of the normal season.

Agree, we play a demanding style of footy, so we need depth, and this year at least in the forwards and halves we have solid depth
 
I remember being at Accor Stadium in July, 2023 to see us get humbled 66-0 by the Knights. I stayed until the final siren because when it comes to the Dogs, I have some masochistic tendencies. I remember driving home wondering if I'd ever see the team strong again.

All I could do on the way to the club after leaving Shark Park tonight was shake my head in disbelief (apologies to anyone on the road at this time as I'm sure I didn't stay in my lane). I'm not going to get too excited and declare us as top four certainties and I know there's still a long way to go but to think how far this team has come in 21 months is extraordinary and it's hard not to feel proud of all the players that have made this team greater than the sum of all it's parts.

For those keeping score, 1993 was the last time we started the season with four straight wins and we went on to win the fifth game as well. Fingers crossed we're not impacted by suspensions and we can keep ourselves grounded because the competition has shown that any team can cause an upset this year.
