Sitili will take a spot for sure in the 17..
hes such a good signing.. but as i have said multiple times he's a natural edge player (right side).. so will be interesting to see what happens with Presto

I've watched a few Leopards games and he's much better than that.

Another plus, Tupouniua has been killing it, really stepped up since he has had a regular gig.

Team First
I agree that Tupouniua should go great for us.

He won forward of the year at Leigh Leopards? I mean, that's nice for him and all, but he was up against... *checks interwebs*... Nathan Wilde... Robbie Mulhearn... Ben Nakubuwai... Oliver Holmes? Who are these people?

Amone will be a good get for us… people on here want a “Payne Haas” type player but clubs hang on to those types of players.

If we can pick up a couple of capable middles thereafter Nov 1. We should have better firepower and depth up front.

Yeah i watched him the other day against Wigan closely... He has a motor which is good, but he gets dominated quiet easily in D and A which was worrying and has a brain fart in him.

Luke Thompson ran at him and lets just say what i saw wasnt that motivating.

I hope Gus and Sharpe at looking intot O.Kaufusi sitch, he is so what we need and can grab him tomorrow.

Figures don't lie and Amone's metres per game is not very inspiring. He gets around 5-8m per carry per game looking at stats. Having said that, all the other super league forwards don't get that many metres per carry. Weird.

I want a Yeo/Leota metre eating forward!

Is there anything in him that makes sense in terms of the CC approach? What are his tackles per minutes stats like? Does he have good line speed?

He'll either be good for us or he won't. I get that people wanted us to pick up a few of the current representative props from the Australian or NZ rep teams. But the few rep level players that go to market have numerous teams chasing them and will generally either command huge dollars at struggling teams and if they don't chase the best money available, they'll take a competitive deal with a team where they're going to be landing in a high quality roster.

The coaches who wind up being recognised as the best in the business tend to see the potential for players to become incredible and sign them before they've quite shown it consistently. I don't know if Ciraldo is destined to make the list of best in the business. But he's gotten great results this year with a highly underrated roster. Amone might be a flop back in the NRL. But he might be someone that offers an aspect of play that we've been missing. We won't know until he's had a chance.

Judge on what he produces rather than pre judging based on the fact that he's in the SL. Or at least stop the constant gnashing of teeth and despairing hair pulling until it's warranted.

Amone's footwork and ball playing at the line in his highlight videos looks awesome. Looks pretty mobile all round. NRL's a different level but he and Sitili have to knock Salmon and Morrin (or Bailey) out of our top 17, unless Gus comes up with something even better in the off season.

Ben Nakubuwai is an absolute beast. Should be next player on our radar!

Jokes aside, he’s much improved. Will go well next year.

Like i said he has a motor so he gets around the field.

I also think this is a Gus signing... CC just asks for experienced mobile forwards with good numbers. .
