Has anyone had a good experience with these morons? I preordered a ps4 game from JB Hi Fi, and it was supposed to arrive last week.

On the friday it said it was held up in transit and would arrive on monday, then on monday it said Excessive delay at receiving dock.
So I rang them up to find out wtf is happening around midday and they say they will express delivery it for tuesday, for which it never arrives. So i ring them up again and apparently have to wait for their manager or something to find out what's happened, which took them a day to get to me on.
Again they said they would express ship it.

So i'm waiting all day thursday for the guy to arrive, only to see an update "Attempted delivery. The delivery address was not accessible for pickup/delivery." which is BS, nothing is locked until you get to the foor of the apartment building, heard no telecom bell and there was no card in my mailbox, so i can only assume they went to the wrong address or unit.

So I looked at the reviews and there's like 3k 1 star reviews of toll with basically everyone having similar stories. How are they allowed to operate like this?

They're all pretty sucky. Australia post is still sucky but they have gotten better.

I have the problem with Startrack all the time that I give them my business address and my phone number, confirm with them that they have the address and will call my phone number if there's any issues, then I get "sorry, insufficient address, returned to warehouse"

Every damn time.

Toll and Lindfox are criminals there’s no doubt about it.

Do lindfox actually repair defects on their trucks now?
Years ago almost every Lindfox truck Imused to drive pass on the road had some sort of defect.

it made me wonder how much Lindsey Fox is paying the government and police so he can operate such a dodgy business?

Once I got the “no one at home, returned to warehouse” card and I checked my cameras (i always deliver to my office). The guy pulled up for a few seconds then took off. Sent the footage to Toll and threatened to send it to the supplier of the product if it happened again. Alas, they always come upstairs now and drop it off. Happy times.

I would like to know if anyone here is a courier driver (especially Toll or StarTrack). What’s the ins and outs of the job? Is the reason this guy done the above was to pump in as much deliveries as possible to get more $$$$?

It's ironic how Australia Post can regularly fark up a delivery of a PS4 or some such shit, but your bills are always on time.

I've used Parcel Post about a dozen times over the past year and they seem to be alright. Constantly tracking it is the way to go.

I couldn't say much about the ins and outs of the job. I know that they've got satellite tracking on their tablets and they've got an expectation of making deliveries within a certain time frame or their pay is penalised. My nephew used to work for them for close to a year and quit when he found out they hadn't paid into his superannuation. Because he quit without giving notice, they rang the police and accused him of stealing from them. This was Startrack.

He probably owns his own van and buys a run from star track. Even though he probably has star track all over his van they are technically Subbys.
They get an extra $4 a delivery if they have to take it to the post office or the closest drop point

Wow! Imagine end of day having 10 to drop off. That’s extra $40 a day x 5 days.... makes a difference

Yeah a couple of them have been caught pre filling out the pick up from post office cards before leaving the depot. So basically they rock up to the address and put the card in letterbox and fuck off

Yeah same lol. Times where I’ve been home all day expecting something and nothing shows up. Go to the mail box and the card is in there... geez
