Titans fans launch petition for the club to resign ash taylor

Gold Coast Titans fans have launched a petition urging the club to re-sign playmaker Ash Taylor.

Taylor, 26, is off contract at the end of this year after signing the most lucrative deal in the club’s history.

The former Broncos playmaker has come on leaps and bounds since taking a hiatus from the game at the end of 2019.

His partnership with Jamal Fogarty – and the move to five-eighth – has helped lead the Titans towards the finals for the first time in the last five years.

Now the Gold Coast fanbase have kicked off a Change.Org petition to get the club to re-sign the playmaker who has eight try assists and one try this season.

The club itself dropped him in 2019 to reserve grade believing it was in his and the club's best interest

2016 22 games Titan's finished 8th (10 of 22 won)
2017 24 games Titans finished 15th (7 of 24 won)
2018 23 games Titans finished 14th (8 of 23 won)
2019 granted indefinite leave due to issues 10 games Titans finished last ( 3 out of ten games won)
2020 19 games Titans finished 9th (9 of 19 won)
2021 13 games Titans currently 9th ( 5 of 13 games won)

Their fans seem easily pleased.....

yeah I mentioned this in the petition for Lachy Lewis thread. Do any supporters think that 500 people asking them to re-sign a dud is going to change their minds? If it would I would sign it so it would mess up their cap.
