Tiniest MP3 player revealed

November 01, 2006
Article from: http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,20681495-5001024,00.html

THE tiniest iPod yet - the size of a matchbox - will go on sale worldwide on November 3, Apple Computer announced today.

Apple has heralded the Shuffle MP3 player, which weighs 14g, as the world's smallest digital music player, and has priced it at $US79 ($103).

"With its ultra-compact design and built-in clip, the new iPod shuffle is the most wearable iPod ever," Apple vice president Greg Joswiak said.

"The new iPod shuffle completes our all-new lineup of iPods for this holiday season and beyond, and we hope it's going to be a huge hit."

The shuffle was built with a gigabyte of flash memory capable of storing as many as 240 songs, according to Apple.

I reckon it's too small, Heaps of People complained about the Nano's being too small cause they would lose them or break then if they were in a pocket when they sat down.

I have the Video and I like it far more than I did my nano. IMO I think that the nano was too small and not heavy enough.

The creative zen vision:m is awesome. One of the best around. If you want something smaller, go for the creative zen v/v plus..They're the best ones going around right now.

ive used the h10. it has a **** resolution screen, and it doesn't play bass very well..if you put the volume up a little and listen carefully, it'll start to distort..

I've got these in at work now, and I can honestly say they're garbage.

They're no longer the smallest mp3 player either.
