A Rebuild isnt done by blooding juniors.. we need to sign as many experienced capable NRL players as possible.. then replace them with better players as they become available..

At the moment we have a FG team too inexperienced all over..

Yes, Pay is laughable. The players lost it today and he sure didn't do anything to change the fact.

People are quick to jump and credit him the win against a shitty tigers team and a narrow loss against the Storm but distance him from our 30+ losses.

Teams like roosters and sharks have a star studded team and still sign (by cheating) players like Cronk and Shaun Johnson. We seem to struggle to entice someone like Robson who has played two games and might go ok but has a roadblock to regular first grade. Don’t think we’re getting too many new fans during this rebuild

we need to sign some one like ponga , lateral mitchell, munster type of proven player

not Jayden Ockenbor or some other unknown player with all hype and nothing else.

Said this before, I'm concerned the current board want to do things like the 90's and try and bring together a group of fringe players and turn them into a premiership winning side, I don't think you can do that anymore. In time some of these players will be great but playing a side of mostly inexperienced players will end up with results like today.

When we have money available we need to sign some decent players, we may have to pay overs but something needs to be done. Your Okunbur, Meaney, Lewis style players can only get you so far.
